The term "Home Carpet Cleaners" can both refer to the various types of carpet cleaning solutions found in the market as well as the home carpet cleaner machines which are machines commonly used to remove dirt from your carpet. Wait around ten to fifteen minutes and go over and suck up the spot with a towel and you are done. 

Well, now we will move on to the other type of "Home Carpet Cleaners" As you know, there are many types of home carpet cleaning machines in the market, so it is very difficult for the common consumer to choose and pick the most suitable one for their home. While many consumers are still used to the ideal of engaging a professional carpet cleaning company to clean their carpets, a small but growing number of households are already using a good and quality carpet cleaning machine to maintain their carpets. 

There are many types of home carpet cleaners and they can be further classified into the following categories: 

Broom / Stick  Carpet Cleaners 

They are known as broom or stick carpet cleaners because they resemble a broom or a piece of elongated stick in the looks department. Due to their compact design, they are very lightweight and can be easily moved around. They also do not take up much storage space due to their size.

Dry / Wet Carpet Cleaners 

These carpet cleaners are extremely useful for those of you who likes to do both dry and wet vacuuming. Due to their versatility, you can use them to perform dry vacuuming, shampooing of carpet as well as sucking water out of your carpet. When looking for a dry / wet carpet cleaner, look for the right canister size to suit the amount of cleaning that you would like to do.  

Hand Held Portable Carpet Cleaners 

These handhelds are extremely useful in all types of handy situations especially in situations whereby a power point is unavailable. These carpet cleaners can clean at a much deeper level than other carpet cleaners. Similar to the dry/wet carpet cleaners, these steam carpet cleaners make use of steam to clean your carpet. Steam carpet cleaners are very good in removing stubborn stains and odours. 

Upright Carpet Cleaners 

As the name implies, these carpet cleaners stand upright and much lighter than those dry/wet carpet cleaners. As such, they are easier to push around although they may be a bit too heavy to lug up and the stairs. Many of these upright carpet cleaners comes bag-less. They also comes with various different attachments for cleaning out of reach and difficult locations.
